- The American Legion Post CR10 and the Marine Corps League participated in the 4th of July Independence Day celebration.
- The festivities were directed by the American Colony and included the veterans, the U.S Air Force Jazz Band “Airmen of Note”, a Costa Rican Square Dance Group, a Costa Rican Band, a vintage car parade and fireworks.
